David P. Deavel is associate professor and chairman of the theology department at the University of St. Thomas in Houston. A 2013 winner of the Novak Award, he is co-editor of Solzhenitsyn and American Culture: The Russian Soul in the West (Notre Dame, 2020) and a senior contributor at The Imaginative Conservative.
