Andrew Houser is a member of the Acton Institute’s 2021 Emerging Leaders class. He graduated from Aquinas College in 2018 with a B.A. in Political Science, Spanish, and International Studies, with a minor in Economics. In his personal life, he enjoys spending time with his fiancé and following baseball.

This matters, especially for families and children, as well as our communities, as church attendance and religious adherence not only benefit family life, but also the development of children, as both church and a strong family life positively form children and help them become productive members of society.

On June 21, the Supreme Court of the United States issued a ruling that changed college athletics as we know it.
In an opinion by Justice Neil Gorsuch, the court concluded that the NCAA imposed rules that “are not reasonably necessary to distinguish between college and professional sports.”
